The Quality Assurance System for PhD Programs is designed as a cyclical process of continuous improvement aimed at ensuring excellence in research training.
At the core of this process is the PhD Executive Board (Gruppo di Riesame), which is responsible for the self-assessment of the training pathway.
Quality Assurance of the PhD Program concerns:
Each year, the Executive Board is required to prepare the Annual Monitoring Report. Every five years, it must also produce the Cyclic Review Report, aimed at carrying out a comprehensive evaluation of the program’s contents, organisational arrangements, and overall effectiveness. The review outcomes are translated into corrective actions, consistent with the University's guidelines and strategic planning, which support the reshaping of the high-qualification process, ensuring transparency and integrity.
