In order to be admitted to the final defence, the PhD Student must fulfil all DELoS requirements, including passing all first year exams, receiving a positive evaluation by his/her Supervisor and, each year, submit to the Program Committee a written Report (Activity Report) on the research activity carried out and the results achieved, as well as any participation in seminars, congresses and other scientific initiatives, together with any publications produced.
While preparing their dissertation, PhD Students are required to participate in Seminars and Workshops as well as external conferences.
PhD Students must acquire 6 CTU in softs skills. This can be done: a) by participating in the UNIFI Graduate Skills Development Program (s.c. Cross skills), or b) asking the Supervisor and the Program Committee to attend Summer Schools, Workshops, etc., that will be then certified by the Program Committee.
