Scholarships
Available scholarships are awarded after a comparative evaluation and on the basis of the final rankings of successful candidates. They are awarded for the entire duration of the PhD program, provided that PhD Students maintain the proper requirements. Candidates who had previously received a scholarship to attend a doctoral program in Italy are not allowed to be awarded a new scholarship (in case of enrolment in a new PhD program).
The scholarship entitles the PhD student to:
- an annual scholarship of € 15.343 paid in monthly installments;
- a 50% increase in the scholarship amount during research and study periods abroad, for a maximum duration of 12 months.
- a travel allowance equivalent to 10% of the annual scholarship to cover the PhD student's mobility expenses, registration for conferences and/or summer schools etc etc.
