Courses List
Most DELoS teaching activities take place in the first year of the programme. The training requirements comprise:
- coursework worth up to 44 CFU, completed in the first year;
- transferable skills (cross-skills) activities worth 6 CFU, completed over the three years of the programme.
First-year teaching is organised into integrated courses delivered over three terms:
November–December, January–March and April–May. The courses cover both research methods and subject-specific topics. Some are shared by the two curricula, while others are specific to one curriculum.
The courses offered in the first year of the 42nd cycle are listed below. Further details are available in the expandable sections. At the start of each term, we will publish the timetable, classroom locations, and links to course syllabi and materials.
First term (November-December)
The first term focuses on levelling the playing field providing (i) a refresh of micro, macro, statistics and econometrics basics, (ii) some topics in micro, macro and econometrics, and (iii) an introduction to research methods in social sciences
