- Selection procedure
We look for highly motivated Candidates having a solid economic or social sciences background. Preference will be given to candidates having previous study/work experience in one of DELoS areas and/or showing applied research skills.
Candidates are shortlisted assessing their CV, research proposal, reference letters (if any) and any other certification/qualification.
Candidates will be also interviewed either in presence or remotely. The interview focuses on the research proposal, the candidate’s skills/abilities and motivations.
- Applications
Candidates holding an Italian “Laurea Magistrale” (Master’s Degree) or an equivalent degree obtained abroad are eligible as applicants. Applications are also accepted from candidates who expect to obtain their degree before the PhD program official starting date (november 1st). Applicants should indicate for which PhD curriculum they apply.
Application must include
- copy of ID (European citizens) or passport
- degree certificate or self-certification with the transcript of records (see details in the call)
- research proposal in English (max 3000 words) with a short abstract (max. 150 words) and bibliography. Please use the research proposal template
- curriculum vitae and studiorum (CV) in Europass format
Application may include
- up to 2 reference letters (in English or Italian)
- any international certificate of English language knowledge (C1 level or higher in the CEFR)
- list of scientific publications (if any)
- any other documents proving the candidate’s research skills and abilities
Applicants have also to pay the application fee of 30 € (see details in the call)
